Squirrel

LG:To write a persuasive piece   

    I should be allowed a pet squirrel at home. Squirrels are found all over the world,and they belong to the Sciuridae family.There are many types of squirrels, these include: Mountain tree, Northern flying, Rock, Franklin etc. A group of squirrels are called a scurry or dray.

In the following argument I’m going to give three reasons why l must have a pet squirrel at home.

    Primarily squirrels are very helpful. By them cracking my walnuts,it will save me time so I can do my homework. This is a saying that I saw.

‘ They keep a place on the bench just for you; help bring stuff home too.’

    Furthermore squirrels are good for safety. According to scientists squirrels can be very vicious animals,with sharp nails. It can do night watch and alert me when someone's on the loose.    

    In addition squirrels are great for entertainment. I can train it to do flips and tricks, so no more boredom. It can entertain the family after dinner, like finding a crazy way to get to food.   

    I strongly believe that I should have a pet squirrel at home, because they are helpful, provide safety and would be good for my family’s entertainment. So say yes to squirrels at home!
